The sun is rising behind Ama Dablam
We are taking it easy today, we decide to climb the hill behind Dingboche where there is a viewpoint. The peaks behind Meera are Tabuche 6495 meters and Cholatse 6335 meters from left
Looking towards Chhukhung where a lot of people go to do the Island Peak Trek. The peak at the end of the river is Island Peak 6189 meters. It is a trekking peak meaning you do not need any climbing gear to climb it although fixed rope may be needed.
Tabuche and Cholatse stand majestically looking over the Pheriche valley. Pheriche is a small town with lots of hotels down along the river. The next day we will walk in the direction of up the river to get to Lobuche.
Its cold and windy. We take in the views and take some photographs.
